Meet Your Maker: Kelsey Kaufmann & Adam Baas of Baas Instruments

Baas and Kaufmann have talked a lot about crafting and building things together, but it took applying to Hover Craft to get the ball rolling.  Now that it is, they have been producing nail-less bookcases, picture frames, wooden earrings and cutting boards in the shape of Wisconsin.

Both are very active in Milwaukee's creative community, playing in a band together called Outside.  Baas is also a trained luthier (guitar builder) who established his business earlier this year to do instrument repair and guitar building.  Kaufmann also plays in a band called Centipedes and co-organizes Riverwest Fest, which is a 2-day multi-venue music fest.  Everyone should go to Riverwest Fest.  It's awesome and it will be on December 21st and 22nd.
